The result is that players with a slower connection, such as modem users, get left out to dry. Yeah i loved this game over Master of Orion I and II, most fans didnt like this because they wanted turn based space combat. This game is tough to crack though and didnt really care for the new Master of Orion that the Russian made either. I still come back to this game. I love the sheer scale of planets within systems and how large you can make your galaxy. I loved finding magnate races and seeding them on properly terraformed worlds to repopulate those rare races.
